Rabbagast - New restaurant concept & identity
Together with SSP Norway, we have developed a new restaurant concept for the airport in Bergen, Norway. The concept needed to reach a broad target group, from couples, families, kids, to friends groups.
The name Rabbagast are inspired by Bergen and the people's laid back yet cool attitude. The word "Rabagast" is used to explain a person being naughty and playful. The famous "Bryggen" in Bergen has also inspired us to find wooden materials and our brand maskot. A sea gull with attitude, has he bought the fish, or has he stolen it? Nobody knows.
The color palette are set to compliment the wooden houses and bricks at "Bryggen", creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The pattern is drawn to represent famous tourists places in Bergen, without being too cliché. Our photos reflect the restaurant and tempts customers to eat in.
